Benny founds Nord West Yachts

During the first operating years as self employed, Benny was mostly doing work for other boat manufacturers on the island. In 1989 Benny decided he wanted a brand of his own and purchased the Nord West brand from Norway, including two boat models; Nord West 900 and the Nord West 1100. Benny refined and improved these models and gradually extended the model range, including the Nord West 1000 and the Nord West 380 Trawler.
